Do you love monograms as much as I do? I have been designing hand calligraphy monograms for the last 15 years. My favorite designs are the ones where I use brush watercolor markers. The Tombow brand is my favorite although there are many off brand markers out there. For a circle monogram border take a mug or a cup and draw a pencil line tracing the base or the top of the glass. Use that as your guide and then draw your stems first. Then draw your leaves and fill in with your flowers and decoration. To get the watercolor effect brush a tiny amount of water over your drawing. Then letter your monogram! You can take your monogram and scan it and use the file for all kinds of things.
